• Hotel booking confirmation

• Return flight ticket

• Copy of the passport’s external cover page

Without the cover page, the entry permit application will not be processed.

Although UAE authorities haven’t released an official explanation, travel experts believe the change helps immigration officers quickly verify nationality. Staff at several Amer centres reported receiving official notices last week. “We now upload the passport cover page for all visit visas and entry permits,” one representative said. “Applications without it cannot move forward.”
