Why This Upgrade Matters
-
For travellers from India and across Asia, having free meals and entertainment on a budget carrier means better value and improved comfort—especially on longer flights.
-
With growing competition among airlines in the region, this move may push others to enhance their offerings.
-
It aligns with the trend of “value-for-money” in air travel—where what you pay includes more than just the seat. Also Read: India & China to resume direct flights
Considerations & Travel Tips
-
Even though the benefits are included, check route-specific menu and entertainment details—some shorter feeder flights may have limited service.
-
Booking early may still be beneficial: despite the enhanced offering, fares could rise if the improved service draws more demand.
-
Ensure that your chosen route actually flies with Flydubai (or via Dubai hub) to avail the upgrade.
-
If you have frequent-flyer memberships (Flydubai is partnered with Emirates Skywards), check whether your tier gets additional perks on top of the new standard benefits. Also Read: How to avoid visa rejection
